Williams Lake Loves Craft Beer!

Established in 2015, the Williams Lake Craft Beer Festival (WLCBF) has sold out every year.

The WLCBF is organized by a group of passionate beer enthusiasts who aim to expose Williams Lake and surrounding area to BC's growing craft beer movement.

But it’s not just about the beer. The main purpose of the festival is to raise money for non-profit organizations serving Williams Lake and area, and over the years we have been able to give over $130,000 to worthy community causes.

In our first year, 2015, over $20,000 was raised for the Cariboo Foundation Hospital Trust, a non-profit that seeks to expand the health care services available to the local community through Cariboo Memorial Hospital.  We were able to donate an equal amount in 2016.

Proceeds from 2017 (over $30,000) went to the Cariboo-Chilcotin Child Development Centre Association, a well-established charity that provides services to children and families in the Williams Lake community.

Since 2018, we have been able to raise almost $100,000 for the CCCDCA. It’s a great testament to the generosity of all involved: from our community sponsors, the breweries, volunteers, and those that came out to attend the event.

We’re hoping you can help in continuing to make this a great success for our community in 2020. Check out the Sponsorship page to see about corporate partnerships.

Cheers!
