Williams Lake likes craft beer! Established in 2015, Williams Lake Craft Beer Festival has sold out all 3 years. In 2017, the event sold out in 30 minutes, attracted 425 attendees and represented 23 of craft breweries. The feedback we received from both the community and the breweries has been overwhelmingly positive.
Williams Lake Craft Beer Festival is a casual evening social that raises money for the community. The beer festival is organized by a group of passionate beer enthusiasts who aim to expose Williams Lake and surrounding area to BC's growing craft beer movement.
2017’s proceeds went to raise money for the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre Association. The Child Development Centre is a well-established charity that provides services to children and families in the Williams Lake community. In 2014 and 2015 we raised a total exceeding $20,000 for the Cariboo Foundation Hospital Trust, which is a non profit group whose main objective is to raise funds through events and donations to expand the health care services available to our community at Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
